Puppies For Sale
We breed for ourselves and look for our next show prospects from each litter. We evaluate our puppies as they are growing up. Usually between 6-8 weeks of age we will offer some to reserve, and some will be kept for additional time, for further evaluation. If there are any puppies we decide not to keep for ourselves or other show exhibitors, they will first be offered to those who have already submitted a deposit (we do not require deposits). We do not place and reserve puppies the way many breeders do. Please read about our sales process and deposit policy and status (how many future puppies have already been reserved) on the Deposits page. The first step in pursuing a puppy is to submit a Puppy Application.

Please note: Our average size puppy grows up to be 4-1/2 to 5-1/2 pounds, sometimes smaller and sometimes bigger. If you are looking for a puppy smaller than 4-1/4 pounds, I encourage you to continue your search for another breeder. Our goal is to produce puppies in the above size range and our bloodlines rarely produce any smaller than 4 pounds.

AVAILABLE PUPPIES
We will have puppies available in February/March, 2026.
AVAILABLE ADULT(S) and OLDER PUPPIES
We are considering offering a 5 year old long coat 4-1/4lb boy to the right home. (Buddy is on the left side of the couch in the photo.) He was neutered as a young puppy and does not mark territory like some intact dogs might. He is potty trained to go outside through a doggie door and uses the porch potty. He is also crate trained. He loves people and is part of our welcoming committee when guests come over. He loves to lounge around as a couch potato/lap dog, but will take walks if necessary (this is best for him). He also enjoys dashing outside and chasing our cats over the fence. However, if the cat doesn't run away, he just goes back inside, since the thrill is gone. He is a quiet boy and not a barker, unless he is alerting us of the cats coming up on the deck (they are not allowed there). He doesn't mind other dogs but doesn't mind lounging by himself either. He is very easy-going, quiet, small and friendly.
We sold him as a puppy and he came for a visit over one year ago. His owner could see that he was enjoying his time with us and offered for us to keep him here, since he was thriving. We really enjoy him, but need to keep our numbers down, so if the right home came along, we would consider letting him go. We haven't decided for sure. His price will be $2500. He is already trained, neutered, vaccinated, etc.

Q. What makes you decide to sell an older puppy/dog?
A. Our puppy evaluation process is ongoing. It begins at birth and continues until we retire each dog. There are certain time frames/ages when we are most likely to decide if one is going to be offered to a pet home or kept for further evaluation. The first evaluations happen between birth and 6 weeks. We narrow it down more by the 8 week mark. The next milestone is 12 weeks and then 6 months. By one year of age, we usually decide whether or not a puppy will join our breeding program, but we keep an open mind to do what is best for the puppy, as well as the long term goals for our breeding program. We are preservation breeders trying to preserve certain traits in our bloodlines. Sometimes certain traits don’t show up until the puppy matures. There are various factors that influence our decision. Some of these include temperament, conformation, size, bloodlines, as well as the overall goals we have for our family and breeding program at the time. We do the same puppy “matchmaking” process with puppies we keep for ourselves as we do with those going to pet homes. When we offer an older puppy, it is because we have made the decision that the best match for that particular puppy is in another home rather than in our breeding program as a whole.
We limit the number of Chihuahua family members we keep, so we can continue offering a high level of care, to each one. From time to time, we may offer an adult or older puppy to a special pet home.
Since we only have a few dogs, it's rare for us to have one to offer. Our adults make good pets, since they are raised as pets in our home and don't live in a kennel environment. They have freedom to run around our home, can come and go through a doggie door to play outside, enjoy lots of time with our family hanging out and are pretty good at pottying outside, as that's where we train all our dogs to potty.
Please note that we take our time in finding a perfect home for our special older dogs. We do not necessarily sell them to the first person we hear from. We like to get to know multiple people and then select the home we feel suits them best.
Prices for an older dog are variable. If you are interested, plan on them being at least the same as our pet price (see below for current prices) but some might be higher or lower, depending on the individual dog.
Pricing, policies & shipping/transport options
Most puppies we decide not to keep are sold as pets with LIMITED AKC registration and a Spay/Neuter Agreement.
If there is a show prospect available, we will consider offering Full AKC to experienced show exhibitors or those serious about becoming one. We put a lot of thought into this decision and are not hasty about offering it. We will not offer breeding rights/full AKC simply because someone asks for them, even if you are willing to pay a higher price. If you are interested in Full AKC, please contact us and tell us about your goals, showing history and setup (how do your dogs live?). Please include your website if you have one and references from other exhibitors.
Prices vary and are subject to change. Current pet price $2200.

Shipping: We do not ship pet puppies at this time. However, you are welcome to travel here to come meet him/her and personally bring a puppy home. If extra services are required in order to fly a puppy home (health certificate, travel crate, etc.), buyer is responsible for those extra expenses. We may be able to meet you at the airport or a few hours from our home for an extra fee. Please read our Transport/pick up options page for more information and options.
